Kathy is a working mom with three college-age  kids and a husband of twenty-five years.  She lives in the open farm country of western New York and enjoys tromping through the fields and woods with her two large dogs.  Kathy has been writing since second grade, but it wasn't until her kids got into high school that she began to take her writing seriously and pulled out the old notebooks.  A love of American history, especially the Civil War period is the back drop for her stories, in which history, drama and romance come together in just a few short pages.

"No one I have previously read has been able to put the reader in the middle of the war and show extensive action in so few words.  I am impressed with her ability and the depth she has portrayed in her story." ~ Brenda Talley, The Romance Studio
